GroupHub Competes in LAUNCH Hackathon in San Francisco

I write this as the New York City based team of GroupHub is flying across the country on Virgin America.  We were up bright and early to catch our flight so that we could be in San Francisco by lunch time.  Our development team is headed back to their roots.  We will be competing in the LAUNCH hackathon over the weekend.  I have no idea what our genius and talented team will be building together, but I know it will only bond the team on our mission to disrupting and improving how Americans get their health care coverage.  While in town we will re-energize with our biggest supporters at Validic and Hackers/Founders.   

I will be updating often, and look forward to sharing our progress.  

Here are some hackathon awards we have previously won:

1- GroupHub won the Validic Vanguard award in September 2014

2- GroupHub won 1st place at the SF Code-a-thon by integrating PokitDok’s API into our product

3- GroupHub won the Prebacked Ignition challenge from Blue Shield of California.  We were given the opportunity to meet 1-on-1 with the Health IT leaders of Blue Shield.

4- Won Health 2.0 competition by integrating grouphub’s benefits platform with PokitDok technology for automated electronic enrollment in health benefits. Additionally, shocased integration with Allscripts EHR systems, BetterDoctors doctor search technology, and Validic technology for Health Data and Apps integration.

We are excited to learn and compete this weekend, and look forward to returning to our office space at the Blueprint Health office in NYC after we win!
